5 of a family in Panjab feared drowned in Bhakra canal
A family- a man, his wife and their three children is feared drowned in Bhakra canal near here. Rajpal (33), Charno Devi (28), Rishu (8), Manu (4) and Harpreet (3-month-old) of Dhanera village had left their house for Himachal Pradesh in a pick-up van on September 28. Their relatives informed the police that they did not reach their destination and their mobile phone was found switched off. The relatives tried to look for the missing family and finding clues of an accident on the bank of the canal near Jhijri village informed the police. A search has been started by the local police for the victims. -PTC News
