After taking up issue by Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ajmer police arrests four accused in assault on four Sikh sewadar case

Newdelhi: The Ajmer Police in Rajasthan has filed an FIR in connection with the assault on four Sikh Sewadars in Chainpura village of the district and four accused have been arrested in the case. Disclosing this in a statement released here today, the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committeee (DSGMC) General Secretary S. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that police has registered an FIR at Police Station Naziraband FIR no161/2017 u/s 143, 323, 341, 295-A, 298 against seven persons. He said that four accused have been arrested in the case. This information has been conveyed to him by Ajmer SSP Mr. Rajinder Singh who has also assured him for arrest of other accused as soon as possible. It is worth mentioning here that yesterday the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa had telephonically called on Ajmer SSP Mr. Rajinder Singh and urged him to take swift action  against the guilty of mercilessly beating the four sewadar Sikhs in the chainpura in Ajmer district and making their video viral are booked and punished as per the law. Head of the four member team Mr. Nirmal Singh has thanked Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa for personally taking up the case with the Ajmer police after which police has taken swift action and after filing of FIR has arrest four accused. It is worth mentioning that four sewadar Sikhs Nirmal Singh,  Kuldip Singh, Harpal Singh and Malkiat Singh were mercilessly beaten by some people in Chainpura village under Ajmer district of Rajasthan and video recording of the incidents was made viral. Mr Sirsa had asked SSP  that this is a serious matter which needs to be investigated thoroughly and guilty should be booked as per the provisions of the law and subsequent process to ensure that they are punished by the courts should be followed. —PTC News
