Akalis stage dharna, demand FIR against Harry Mann : Members of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee Surjit Singh Gaddi , Karnail Singh Panjoli , Jasmer Singh Lachrhu reached at Gurudwara Sri Singh Sabha , Patiala to stage Dharna. Member Parliament from Anandpur Sahib Prem Singh Chandumajra also reached at the venue.
Police locked the main gates of Gurudwara and the workers of Akali Dal has been detained inside the Gurudwara Premises. Former MLA from Patran A Varinder Kaur Loomba and former MLA from Ghanaur Harpreet Kaur Mukhmelpur also reached to take part in the Dharna.
Surjit Singh Rakhra and Harpal Juneja is sitting on the dharna on YPS chownk. Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra raised questions on the silence of chief minutes of Punjab. He said that chief minister belongs to Punjab or he is chief minister of a party.
He said that police has gone to the extent of locking up the protesters in Gurudwara on the direction of Congress. Chandumajra said that despite of lodging a FIR against Harry Mann , protesters had been locked by the police and that was the straight invention in the religious matters of Sikhs.
Chandumajra said that by doing this , sentiments of the Sikh community were hurt. He said that the Gurudwara administration was facing problem as a bhog has to be performed of a Path and the family was also suffering due to the action of the police .Chandumajra said that Taksali Sikhs had sacrificed their lives for the honour of Sikhi.
Giving two days ultimatum to the Captain government , he announced that they would move to Punjab and Haryana High court if the government would not register case against Harry Mann. He said that the incident had reminded us the era of Abdali once again. Government divided the workers of Akalis staging dharna in two separate places.
