Alert in seven states has been announced following Republic Day: The Centre's Home department has announced security alerts for Punjab , Haryana , Uttar Pardesh , Delhi , Rajasthan , Uttar Pardesh and Uttarakhand.
Union Home Department has given orders to the police and security agencies to make all necessary arrangements to keep a vigil so that any kind of terrorist activity or any untoward happening can be checked.
