The newly inaugurated flight will not only help the British Punjabi diaspora save time from travelling to Delhi to Amritsar, but would prove very beneficial to the Punjab and Indian economy, he added. I also would like to express my gratitude to Ms Tara Naidu (Head of Air India in UK and Europe) and the Air India team in thr UK and in #Delhi as well as the Indian Cabinet for keeping to their promise of initiating flights from Birmingham, and with #London-Amritsar not too far behind this year,’ he said.
