Articles amounting to Rs 90,000 stolen from Hema Malini’s warehouse
An incident of theft took place at the warehouse of actress-politician Hema Malini’s in Andheri. As per the Mumbai Police, a domestic helper is on the radar, as the servant has been unreachable for more than a weeks time. The local police is on a lookout for the culprit. Articles estimated to be a value of Rs. 90,000 were stolen including - imitation jewellery, costumes, props and some miscellaneous items, mostly used by the actress for her shoots and dance shows. As per Assistant Commissioner of Police D. Bhargude, a complaint against the suspected servant has been lodged at the Juhu police station. A actress and dancer, Malini joined Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in 2004 and served as a member of Rajya Sabha till 2009. She presently represents Mathura as an MP. -PTC News
