Captain Amarinder Government today abolished Punjab Right To Service Commission . All the 10 RT Commissioners have been removed, here on Wednesday.

Order of the Governor of Punjab

Whereas the Punjab Transparency and accountability in delivery of Public Service Act, 2018 (Punjab Act No.16 of 2018) has been enacted by Government of Punjab and assented by his excellency the governor of Punjab; Whereas the Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Public Service Act, 2018, (Punjab Act No. 16 of 2018) has been published in the Punjab GOVT. GAZ (EXTRA), July and has come into force with immediate effect; Whereas with the coming into force of the Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Punjab Service Act, 2011 (Punjab Ac tNo. 24 of 2011) stands repealed in terms of the provision of section 22 (1) of the Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Punjab Service Act, 2018 (Punjab Acy No.16 of 2018) Therefore, the existing Punjab Right to Service Commission stands abolished and the services of all the Commissioners appointed under the repealed Act i.e. Punjab Right to Service Act, 2011 namely Jagdeep Singh Cheema Lakhwinder Singh Lakhi Jagmeet Kaur Sandhu Kamaldeep Bhandari Nirmal Kaur Rajinder Parshad Mittal (Retd. IPS) Pankaj Kumar Maninder Singh Jagdish Lal Baljit Singh Jalausman are dispensed with immediate effect.-
