Captain Amarinder Singh mourns passing away of Ex-MLA Raj Kumar Gupta

Raj Kumar Gupta Death: Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of ex-MLA Raj Kumar Gupta (85), who took his last breath on Tuesday night following an illness. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described Raj Kumar Gupta as a gentleman politician and leader of the masses, who worked hard for the overall development of his constituency from Jalandhar Central. Captain Amarinder Singh said that Gupta Raj Kumar Gupta, a veteran Congress leader, would always be remembered by one and all for his selfless service and strong connect with the local residents at the grassroots level. While sharing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, relatives and friends, the CM prayed to the Almighty to give courage to them to bear this irreparable loss and peace to the departed soul.

Captain Amarinder Singh also condoled the death of Baljit Kaur, mother of Parveen Parv, Bureau Chief of Jalandhar Bhaskar. Baljit Kaur breathed her last, after prolonged illness, at Boota Mandi in Jalandhar.
