Case of Robbery: Laptops, mobiles stolen from a shop in Zirakpur
A case of robbery has been reported from Kartar Communication, a mobile and laptop shop in Lohgarh village, Zirakpur. Laptops, mobiles, mobile accessories and other items were stolen from the shop. The incident took place in the wee hours on the intervening night of February 16 and 17. The owner of the shop, Maninder Singh said, 'On Friday night I closed the shop at 9.30 pm as I do on daily basis and went back home. The next morning when I came to open the shop, to my shock the two locks attached to the main shutter were broken, and the locked doors inside the shop were also broken.’ ‘Laptops, mobile phones and accessories were missing from the shop. I immediately filed a complaint to the local police,’ he added. He said that 15 mobile phones that came for repair last night were also missing. The CCTV footage was watched careful and investigated, after which the robbers have been identified. A case has been registered in the Zirakpur Police station.
