Karnataka Drama: Bharatiya Janata Party chief minister of Karnataka and Lok Sabha member B S Yediyurappa resigns ahead of floor test on Saturday. Yeddyurappa said, 'I have traveled throughout the state for the last two years and have seen pain on the faces of people. I can't forget the love & affection I received from people' Results announced on Tuesday showed the BJP won 104 seats, the Congress 78 seats and the JD(S) 37. One seat went to JD(S) ally BSP, and the others to a local party and an independent. Voting was held on May 12 in 222 out of the state’s 224 seats. BS Yeddyurappa resigns ahead of floor test "If only people would have given us 113 seats instead of 104, we would have made this state a paradise. But I will fight for the state till my last breath. We will get 28 out of 28 seats in Lok Sabha and I will win 150 Assembly seats for Narendra Modi," Yeddyurapa said. My entire life has been a test, today is one more test, BS Yeddyurappa added. Ahead of Karnataka floor test on Saturday, Congress accused the newly-elected Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa of bribing one of its MLAs. The grand old party shared an audio clip of the alleged conversation between the two leaders on Twitter. This was followed by the allegation that two of its missing MLAs – Anand Singh and Pratap Gouda have been kept at the Goldfinch Hotel which is just 1 km away from the state assembly.
