Chilli powder used to rob Rs 6.5 lakh from Gopal Sweets' owner
Robbers looted Rs 6.5 lakh cash from the owner of renowned Gopal Sweets in sector 8 here on Tuesday night.
The robbers were scooty-borne, who threw chilli power into the eyes of the victim Sharanjit Singh at about 10.30 pm on Tuesday in the parking area outside the shop as he was about to return home.
The incident was recorded in the CCTV cameras. The police is examining the case after the complaint was lodged at the police station.
On January 1, 2017, Sharanjit Singh was robbed of Rs 5 lakh outside his house. The robbers had also come on scooty at that time to commit the crime.
