City Beautiful painted red: A Gabru wearing Kaintha, riding a bicycle this Valentines

Hearts and chocolates, Sunlight and warmth, Valentines and love go hand in hand and so does Chandigarh and its gabru and mutiyaar showering love in unusual ways each time! Shedding the tuxedo, little red dress and roses, the youth paint the city beautiful in red with love and white with serenity along with a beautiful message to keep the city as picturesque heaven as it has always been. While men dress in a formal suit with flowers and chocolates in hand and women in a Little Red dress in a complete cliche, we take you to a romantic visual ride across the city beautiful- Chandigarh celebrating the day significant for love and togetherness in a different way. A gabru, dressed in the color of peace and serenity was seen riding a bicycle that had all over it, along with a heart stuck literally on the bicycle that said - 'This Valentines Day, Clean City, Green City.' Taking down the notion of formal suit and roses this Punjabi Gabru sets an example for the youth this morning in Sector 10 Chandigarh. He was also wearing a kaintha (a necklace for men in punjab) Fading the years old tradition, the ladies the city were not cherry red in a little red dress and blow dried hair. We witnessed a lady with a man showering the road with love and painting the canvas of sector 10 roads with a man accompanying her in rayban shades, balloons on a white vintage car and smile on the face. Literally driving the city in love, our punjabi gabru and mutiar are an example of peace, serenity and love in every aspect. Just as the city it self, they like keeping it low key yet heartfelt.
