CWG 2018: India’s Sachin Chaudhary bags bronze in para power lifting Sachin Chaudhury adds yet another glory to the nations medals tally! Sachin Chaudhary bags bronze in para power lifting men's heavyweight event at the Commonwealth Games 2018. Abdulazeez Ibrahim of Nigeria won the gold medal with 191.9 points, while Malaysia's Yee Khie Jong clinched the silver medal with 188.7 points in the men's heavyweight para powerlifting event. He lifted a total of 201 kg to score 181.0 points on day 6 of the Gold Coast Games on Tuesday. Sachin had earlier represented the nation at the 2012 Paralympics in London where he stood 9th. Last year, he had finished with silver at the Powerlifting World Cup in Dubai when he lifted 200kg, he career best. In total, India have amassed 20 medals so far at the Games and are third in the medal's tally behind Australia and England. -PTC News
