HORROR! Spine-chilling details of a car accident after it rammed in an auto in Delhi

In a spine-chilling incident, a speeding car driven by a 17 year old rammed into an auto-rickshaw on Thursday, killing the 66-year-old driver. The incident took place in Delhi's Connaught Place at around 6 am. The minor was driving a Maruti Ciaz car with two friends. The auto-rickshaw driver, identified as Shiv Shankar Mahto, was declared dead at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Mehto’s son, Kamleshwar, rescued one of the teenagers stuck under the car. “My father was always at the forefront in helping others. In fact, he preferred to drive at night around Lady Hardinge and RML hospitals as a lot of people needed help during the late hours. We decided to help the people who killed my father since he would have done the same if someone else was involved,” Kamleshwar said. Shockingly, the nephew of Mehto, Kish Mohan, said, “Even while being pulled out from the wreckage, the teenagers were more concerned about their car than the person they had killed. None of them even asked us whether the person they had hit was alive or dead.” According to the police, the teenager jumped a traffic signal and rammed into the auto-rickshaw at a turn between KG Marg and Tolstoy Marg. The auto driver was thrown several metres in the air after the accident took place. "When police reached the spot, the car and auto-rickshaw were found," Additional Commissioner of Police BK Singh said. "The accused who was driving the car and his two friends have also sustained injuries in the accident and are currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital." "A case has been registered against the juvenile driver. We are waiting for the medical report to ascertain if was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime," he added. -PTC News
