Dr. Roop Singh honored Swiss resident Livtar Singh Waraich for making short film about Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib
Livtar Singh working as a bank officer in Switzerland, was impressed with the principles of Sikhism and came to Sachkand Sri Harmindir Sahib.
Waraich was so impressed with the great principles of Sikhism that he took due permission from the Shiromani Committee of Kirpal Singh Badungar President to create a knowledgeable short film on Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and Guru Ramdas.
He interacted with the secretary of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Roop Singh, and said that he had heard stories learned from his parents at home, that got such an attraction in his mind that he wanted to know more about- Sikh great and unique religion and Sikh heritage, and so he reached Amritsar.
Being born and brought up in Switzerland, he could not learn a lot about Sikhi and brought him here with a craving for his great culture.
Secretary Dr. Roop Singh Detailed information him about the expansion, devotion of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, service of Sikhism, Sikh principles, tradition, tradition, principles and Sikh heritage were given to Waraich.
Livtar Singh Asked about the current situation of the Sikhs, the problems faced by Rupa Singh and the work done by the SGPC for their solution.
Answering the questions, Dr. Roop Singh said that the SGPC looks after about 80 gurdwaras along with Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Apart from this, schools, colleges, medical colleges, engineering colleges, Guru Granth Sahib World University, many hospitals for health facilities, medical colleges, Sri Guru Ramdas Medical University and sports and hockey and Kabaddi academies are also established.
