Explosion at Indian restaurant in Canada, 15 injured After a blast in an Indian restaurant in Canada’s Mississauga city, at least 15 people were left injured the media reported. The incident took place at around 10:30 pm on Thursday.  The blast was caused likely by an improvised explosive device, police said.

Explosion at Indian restaurant in Canada, 15 injured The incident took place in Bombay Bhel located in Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue East, reports CBC Canada. "Two parties fled the scene immediately after the incident. 1st described as male, 5’10-6 feet, stocky build, mid-20s, light skin, wearing dark blue jeans, dark zip up hoodie pulled over head, baseball cap with light grey peak, face covered with black cloth material," tweeted the police. According to paramedics at the scene, three of the injured suffered “critical blast injuries” and were taken to a trauma centre in the neighbouring city of Toronto. The restaurant building appeared to be intact, but there were a lot of broken glass.The cause of the explosion is still unclear and is under probe, said a Peel Regional Paramedic Services spokesperson.
