Japan created history by becoming the first ever Asian team to beat any South American team in the history of World Cup. Playing in the first game of Group H, Japan beat Columbia 2-1 to earn full points in FIFA World Cup 2018 on Tuesday. Incidentally, it is also the first time that Columbia has lost to any Asian team. With three points from the game, Japan moves to the top of the table.
