While all of us bleed red from a wound, a cut, advertisements have shown women bleeding blue awkwardly during their periods. As a part of their #bloodnormal campaign, Bodyform a UK brand is all set to change this with their video campaign.
The delusional reality that blue liquid comes out of women's vaginas as they bleed during their periods is cut off by this amazing brand. The ad opens with red blood poured over a sanitary pad, rather than the infamous blue liquid that majorly all other brands use.
The tagline of the campaign is "Periods are normal. Showing them should be too."
The ad not only makes it clear to the audience that its time to talk about the stigma created and understand the natural phenomena, but it also shows a man buying sanitary pads, thus breaking the social stigma around the practice.
