Drug Allegation: Former Police officer Shashi Kant apologies to Valtoha
Former DGP Shashi Kant from Punjab, in Patti court, had apologized from Virsa Singh Valtoha (SAD) for making false allegations. It is to be mentioned that Shashi Kant, in a press conference at Jalandhar in 2014 had made false allegations on Virsa Singh Valtoha.
Shahi Kant had submitted an affidavit in Patti court, Punjab seeking an apology.
Valtoha conceded this to be the biggest victory of the Shiromani Akali Dal.
Kant spilled the beans on 22 April 2014 by naming “political bigwigs” involved in the drug trade in the state. Kant has also dragged the names of former DGP NPS Aulakh and present incumbent Suresh Arora in the controversy, claiming that they were aware of the links political personalities had with drug mafia.
Valtoha said people like Shahi Kant make allegations based on zero facts and truth in order to gain political importance and play games.
