Gagan K. Teja becomes President of Patiala Media Club
Mrs Gagandeep Kaur Teja was today elected President of the Patiala Media Club (regd.) Patiala. The whole team was elected unopposed after completion of scrutiny and name withdrawal process.
Announcing the results on the occasion Mr. Ujagar Singh Grewal Former DPRO and Returning Officer of the election disclosed that whole team has been elected unopposed after withdrawal of candidature by Mr. Chiranjiv Joshi for the post of Joint Secretary.
He disclosed that apart from Mrs. Gagandeep Kaur Teja from The Tribune, Mr. Rajesh Sharma Panjola Punjab Kesari has been elected Secretary general, Mr. Navdeep Dhingra Punjabi Jagran Senior Vice President, Mr. Parmeet Singh Jagbani Secretary,Mr. Gurpreet Singh Chattha Daily Ajit has been elected Cashier, Mr. Manish Sirhindi Times of India and Mr. Khushvir Toor Sach Kahoon both Vice Presidents, Mr. Bharat Bhushan Hindustan Times as Joint Secretary Photo journalist, Mr. Sanjay Verma Dainik Jagran and Mr. Yogesh Dhir Dainik Sawera as Joint Secretary and Mr. Kawardeep Singh Hindustan Times has been elected Press Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Gagandeep Kaur Teja said that she was thankful to all the members who elected whole team unopposed. She said that her team will try to complete the unfinished tasks apart from working for betterment of journalist fraternity.
Mr. Rajesh Sharma Secretary General said that all team members have done a great decision to elect first ever Woman journalist as President of the Patiala Media Club and he was hopeful that Gagan K Teja will set a great example with her accomplishments.
