Apply for international driving license through Form 4 AK0.
To apply for the license, you must have the following with you - 5 passport size photographs, proof of Indian citizenship, Indian driving license, proof of address, passport, visa, medical form, birth certificates and certified copy of flight tickets (photo copy). The original copies of the proofs should also be accompanied by the application.
To create an International Driving License, you can call any RTO and further go to the office. The fee charged is only 500 rupees. This license is issued for one year only.
After completing the steps above you get a license from 7 days to 30 days. This license cannot be renewed after expiry. However you can re-apply for it anytime after one year.
