Greeshm Utsav kicks-off at Dilli Haat I.N.A.

Delhi: Greeshm Utsav, a festival of fun & frolic for children and adults alike, opened today at Dilli Haat, I.N.A. The festival was formally inaugurated by Sh. S.P. Singh, MD & CEO, DTTDC in a colorful and impressive ceremony. Sh. C.R. Garg, Special Secretary (Tourism), Government of Delhi; Dr. Pooja Joshi, General Manager, Delhi Tourism along with other Senior Officers from Government of Delhi were also present on the occasion. Delhi Tourism has been consistent in organizing a number of different cultural activities and fiestas with an aim to provide the Delhiites with a respite from their hard working schedules and spend some quality time with their loved ones. Not only the kids, but for the people of all age groups thronged in the gala event, plethora of mind engaging activities ranging from Pottery Making Class to Card Making Class, Yoga Session and, of course, a unique Vegetable & Leaves Painting Session under the guidance of the experts in the designated fields, have been organized in the event. It is known that Dilli Haat, I.N.A. is one of the favorite tourist places and hang-out joints among the Delhiites. Being situated near the ring road of the city, the place finds itself an easy approach by almost all the Delhiites. In order to attract the large number of Delhiites to its beauty, the place holds a plethora of different cultural activities and fests to entertain the public with its vibrancy. One also finds it a better place to go for a day out with the family and friends. Besides, getting themselves captivated with the various mind engaging activities, the Delhiites were also provided with the perfect dose of entertainment with the soul soothing performance by Chintan Rajput, Sajda Performance and Gurukul Dance Unit. The second day of the three days long fiesta will provide Delhiites an opportunity to get themselves trained with activities ranging from Pottery Class, Painting Class, Cooking Class, Yoga, Women Safety Sessions along with soul soothing performances by Projekt Street Dance, Sukhmanch Theatre and renowned Zephyr Band. The event shall remain open till Sunday between 12:00 Noon to 10:00 PM, everyday. —PTC News
