Haryana Board 10th result: Jind boy Kartik tops with 99.6%marks
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) declared the Class 10 examinations results on Monday on its official website.
Kartik of Nav Durga School in Jind has topped the examination with 99.6% marks. He has scored full 100% marks in Sanskrit, Mathematics and Science.
He aspires to be an IFS officer. Kartik said that he studied six hours daily for the exam and thanked his parents and teachers for motivating and encouraging him.

The Class 10 exams, which started on March 8 and ended on March 30, were taken by 3,83,499 students. In 2017, 3,18,000 students appeared for the exams and a little more than half or 50.49% were declared successful.
Around 63.84% students passed the exam. The pass percentage dropped slightly from 64.5% last year.
Naveen and Heena, of Hisar district, from Science stream topped the exam, securing 491 marks out of the maximum 500. In the Commerce stream, Monika of Kaithal district topped with 484 marks, while Gurmeet of Jind district topped the Arts stream with 489 marks.
