Haryanvi singer Harshita Dahiya's murder case: brother-in-law admits to killing her
The jailed brother-in-law of Harshita Dahiya has confessed to his role in the killing of the Haryanvi singer and dancer. The Haryana Police has taken Dahiya's brother-in-law into custody for four days, Panipat DSP Desh Raj said. As per reports, Dinesh planned the murder in Jhajjar jail. Notably, Harshite’s sister Lata has also alleged that her husband Dinesh had got her killed because she was the prime witness in their mother's murder in 2014 in which he is an accused. Harshita, a 22-year-old Haryanvi singer, was shot dead on Tuesday by unidentified assailants at Chamrara village in Haryana's Panipat district. She was shot on her way back home in a car at around 4 pm after completing her performance at a function, police had said. Seven to eight bullet injury marks were found during the postmortem of Harshita's body. -PTC News
