Heavy rainfall in Tricity gives residents some serious Monday Blues
Tricity- Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula is drowning in rainfall, while people of the city are literally swimming to get to the offices, schools and destinations they left homes. Majority of roads are blocked, the traffic looks stagnant, and cars are trying hard to sail through the virtual rivers that the roads have become: tricity seems to have some serious Monday Blues.
Houses in the interiors of Mohali seem to have become rivers, as the rainfall increases.
Ola and Uber are hands down too.
The showers have stopped however, leaving behind a disaster of blocked roads and Monday morning blues to the people of tricity.
