I and Harsimrat have planted a sapling today. It’s not just a sapling - it is a tribute to the memory of four sahibzaadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.
All four Sahibzaadas sacrificed their lives to take on tyranny and ensure a good future for us. Two of them – Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh accepted to be bricked alive rather than forsake their religion and identity.
We must teach our children to be steadfast in their beliefs and uphold their value systems. Only then will we be able to build an India of our dreams. We all must plant a sapling not just as a mark of respect to the valiant sahibzaadas but also for the sake of a healthy future for our children.
