Indian Army orders court of inquiry against Major Leetul Gogoi The Indian Army ordered a court of inquiry against Major Leetul Gogoi after the Rashtriya Rifles officer was detained along with a woman and a local man on Wednesday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar, officials confirmed. “The future course of action would be decided based on the findings of the probe,” the official said. Army chief General Bipin Rawat said, “If Major Gogoi has done anything wrong I assure you that soon he will be punished and I will give such punishment that it will become a precedent,’’ he told the reporters in Pahalgham.
