It's happy times for Chandigarh: Direct flight to Bangkok to Start
It's happy times for chandigarhians! Direct flight from Chandigarh to Bangkok is all set to be launched. Air India will take off its first flight on December 11, with a return fare of Rs 19,700. The city is all set to be connected to Bangkok with the public sector airlines, Air India, announcing the launch of its flight to Thailand’s capital, known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. Air India Airport Manager RK Negi, said that Air India will be running Airbus 320 new flyover from Chandigarh to Bangkok, which will leave from Chandigarh at 1:30 pm on Monday and arrive at 7:30 pm at Bangkok International Airport. Similarly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, it will depart from Chandigarh at 2.00 pm and reach Bangkok at 8:15 pm. The return from Bangkok will be at 5:40 am and will reach Chandigarh at 9:30. The flight will run thrice a week, that is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It was earlier said that the flight will begin on 29 October, however due to maintenance it was held. -PTC News
