Pakistani Rangers heavy fire along the international border

Pakistani Rangers fired along the international border The Pakistani Rangers started unprovoked firing at Narayanpur area and Arnia sector along the international border on Sunday night even after a day of pleading with the BSF to halt firing. According to a BSF spokesperson, Pakistan started small-arm firing at Narayanpur Border Out Post (BOP) of Ramgarh sector late night at around 10.30 pm for about 30 minutes. During the firing five mortars were also fired. On Monday morning, Rangers again started unprovoked firing with small arms at around 4 in the Arnia sector, which later turned into shelling.   Additional deputy commissioner Dr Arun Manhas said that ceasefire violations were reported in Arnia Sector of Jammu. “As precautionary measure schools within radius of 5 kilometres have been ordered to be closed. No loss of life and property has been reported,” he said. Pakistani Rangers had pleaded with the BSF to stop firing, when the BSF was pounding them with heavy shelling on Sunday, but the day after agreeing on ceasefire, Rangers again breached the trust and started unprovoked firing. J&K: Pakistani Rangers fired along the international border . “We were prepared and because of the past experience we knew Rangers would breach the trust. But we are retaliating with limited firing.
