Senior Journalist K J Singh's throat was slit, his belongings were missing
Senior journalist KJ Singh and his mother was on Saturday found dead at their house in Phase 3B 2 in Mohali.
The house was found ransacked.
Singh's throat was slit while his mother Gurcharan Kaur was strangulated, suggesting resistance by the victim.
The police were called by the neighbors, House maid was the first to report the murder.
Singh's Ford Ikon car, LCD and other belongings were found missing.
It is suspected that the brutal double murder took place sometime last night after the house maid left the place.
Singh was in his late sixties while his mother over 90 years old.
He had retired as Chief News Editors of The Tribune after serving in The Indian Express and The Times of India.
