Madeeha Gauhar died in Lahore-Pakistan on April, 25th 2018 at the age of 62 after a 3 years illness with cancer. Madeeha Gauhar, a fine actor and director passed away. Dynamic theater activist, Doing theater in Pakistan Madeeha Gauhar (born 1956 in Karachi) was a Pakistani actress, playwright and director of social theatre and women's rights activist. In 1983 she founded Ajoka Theater where social themes are staged in theatres, on the street and in public spaces. With Ajoka she has performed in Asia and Europe.
