CM Punjab in Mansa to launch maiden ‘farmers Loan waiver scheme’: Captain Amarinder Singh has reached Mansa to full fill the promise of ‘farmers’ loan waiver scheme’ that was the main highlight in the election manifesto of Punjab congress during the recent elections.CM Punjab will disperse 46,556 ‘Loan waiver Certificates’ to the farmers today in a programme in an inaugural function.
On the other side , Aam Aadmi party has started protest raising the issue that impartiality had been done picking the names of the effected farmers in the list.AAP was heading towards the venue site to show ‘Black Flags’ to the chief minister when police stopped them and arrested AAP MLAs and leader of the opposition Sukhpal Khaira.
In this function, the farmers from all over the state have reached. Administration has made all arrangements for sitting and lunch for the farmers who have come here from the various districts of the state. On the other hand, tight security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident during the programme. As many as 1800 police personnel, 175 CID officials and four companies of forces have been deployed under the supervision of IG Bathinda range. SSPs of Mansa , Faridkot , Sri Mukatsar Sahib , Moga nad Ferozpur , IRB officers and 4 companies of commandos are present during the function.
