One who choose the road less taken yet reached destinations unmatched- Satinder Satti
A poet, an anchor and a personality that engraves a mark on you each time you meet her, see her or listen to the world talking praises of her- the lady of voice, words and persona, none other than Satinder Satti.
She is counted in the league of those, who have found their way to stardom in the most consistent and dignified ways. She has been among the ones who choose the road less taken and reached destinations unmatched.
She started her career as an anchor, performed in youth festivals in Guru Nanak Dev University and went on to anchor shows on Doordarshan, Alpha Punjabi, E.T.C. and PTC channels later. Never did she have to look back after that.
She also has two music albums to her credit- ‘Moh’ and ‘Peeng’ namely.
After representing the state at numerous international carpets and sets, Satinder Satti took over as chairperson of the Punjab Arts Council in October 2015 and managed to pass an order that makes it mandatory for multiplex owners in Chandigarh and Punjab to screen at least one show of Punjabi films in a day.
On her birthday today, PTC News wishes her all the best for her future endeavors and hopes that she continues to make Punjabi Entertainment Industry what it is with her artistic contribution and her charm and charismatic personality.
