Panchkula Violence: Arrest Warrant Issued Against Vipassana Insan: After the arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan, the Police is now looking out for Vipassana Insaan, the Dera chairperson. Panchkula Violence: Arrest Warrant Issued Against Vipassana Insan Vipassana, was among the top contenders for succeeding Ram Rahim as Dera chief is now facing arrest. She also incited the violence in Panchkula post Ram Rahim Verdict on August 25, following which an arrest warrant has been issued against Vipassana Insan by Panchkula Court.

 Thirty-five-year-old Vipassana Insan was grilled in October 2017 by the Special Investigating Team of the Haryana Police in connection with the violence which broke out following the sect head’s conviction in two rape cases. Vipassana Insan is better known by Dera followers as the second adopted daughter of Ram Rahim after Honeypreet. Violence had erupted in Panchkula and Sirsa, the Dera headquarters, which claimed 41 lives–six died in Sirsa–and left nearly 200 injured in the August 25 violence, which broke out after Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s conviction. Honeypreet was arrested in October for allegedly masterminding the violence that had broken out after Ram Rahim’s conviction. -PTC News
