Parmish Verma is out of danger, says Abhijit Singh Fortis Facility Director 'Parmish Verma was shot in the knee and the surgery is over,' said Abhijit Singh, Facility Director Fortis Hospital Mohali on Saturday. 'Parmish and his friend, both are out of danger', he added. Artists from the Entertainment industry have been visiting Fortis Mohali to show solidarity. However, Police has made no progress in arresting the accuse. Punjabi fame Parmish Verma and his friend were shot at in Mohali on Friday night by Gangster Dilpreet Singh Dhahan and was immediately admitted to Fortis Hospital, Phase 8 Mohali. The duo was returning to their residence when the incident occurred in Sector 91, Mohali. ‘The attack on Parmish Verma is an attack on the entire Punjabi entertainment industry. Parmish was being threatened for extortion and had reportedly even lodged a police complaint. The gangster Dilpreet has brazenly claimed responsibility. The government is sleeping. The gangster is known for similar threats and attacks and has the guts to not only claim responsibility but also walk about freely…,’ the Managing Director and President of PTC Network Rabindra Narayan wrote on his Facebook page. 'On top of it, he is taking Waheguru’s name. When did Waheguru preach firing bullets? The artists entertain people and propagate Punjabiyat. The gangsters propagate only terror. I implore upon the whole entertainment industry to join hands together and force the government to book the gangster. We must all stand together against anyone who threatens and terrorises our artistes.’ 'Let it be known to alll gangsters that if they threaten any artist, they will have to face the whole industry.
