Police hatched conspiracy to kill me in encounter : Togadia : Pravin Togadia has allegedly said that the police had hatched a conspiracy to kill him in an encounter. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad Chief, Togadia speaking in a press conference in Ahmedabad today said that he had been targeted by the police in a decade old case.
Confusion was seen at the VHP headquarters on January 15 in Paldi, Ahmedabad, when workers talked of the Togadia gone ‘missing’ after he had moved out of the office. It is to be informed that a police party of Rajasthan police had reached to arrest Togadia in connection with an old case.
It is noticeable that Togadia had been provided a Z-Plus Category security cover. Afterwards , Togadia was found in Shahibaug area in the city in unconscious condition.
Togadia was brought and admitted to Chandramani hospital in the unconscious state last night.According to the information his blood pressure and blood sugar was below normal. Crime branch senior officials reached to enquire into the matter on Tuesday morning.
Dinesh Bambhaniya , the leader of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti ,after meeting the VHP leader on Tuesday morning told reporters that he was in a stable condition. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) JK Bhatt and other top cops from the city had reached hospital to meet Togadia. In the meantime, Dr Rupkumar Agrawal, who was attending Togadia at the Chandramani hospital said his health condition was stable.
The city police formed four teams to locate the Hindutva leader after he had gone "missing" from the VHP office on Monday morning. On the other side, VHP spokesperson Jay Shah claimed that Togadia was detained by the Rajasthan Police, a senior police officer created a state of confusion by telling reporters that neither the local Sola police nor the Rajasthan Police arrested him.
