Punjab CM Greets People on the 351st Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji: Chandigarh, Dec 24: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has greeted people on the sacred occasion of 351st Parkash Purb of Tenth Sikh Master Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that the great saint soldier, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, created the Khalsa Panth at the holy city of Sri Anandpur Sahib in 1699, symbolising his great ideology and endeavor to infuse the undying spirit of wellbeing (Chardi Kala) amongst the Sikhs to fight against tyranny, oppression and injustice unleashed by the then Mughal rulers.
The Chief Minister further pointed out that the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji was a binding force to unite the entire country.
Captain Amarinder said, “Guru Gobind Singh ji's universal message of peace, humanism, love and brotherhood has a lot of relevance in the emerging national and international scenario.”
He appealed to the entire mankind to follow the path shown by Guru Gobind Singh for making the world a place where every human being is an equal stakeholder in equality, freedom, justice, equality, peace, dignity and human values.
