SGPC to elect New President and New Executive body today
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, considered to be Parliament of Sikhs will elect it's new President and Executive body today. SGPC has 190 members in general house, it includes 5 Jathedars of the five Takhats who have no voting rights . SGPC also has nominated members from Maharashtra, Delhi, Jammu and Himachal as well as elected members from Punjab and Haryana. The voting process will begin after ardas in the afternoon, today.
