Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka made a blunder in Varanasi: cost over 6lacs
Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma were seen promoting their film – When Harry met Sejal. During a promotional tour to Varanasi, the star cast along with director Imtiaz Ali was seen winning hearts. The BJP MP and singer-actor Manoj Tiwari was the host of the event as he greeted the guests. The star cast completely enjoyed their visit to Varanasi. But it seems like the actor forgot they were using police security during the promotions while in Varanasi. The Varanasi Police have sent a recovery note of Rs 5.59 to Mr. Khan for using police security during the promotion in the city. As per the reports 224 personnel under a Suprerintendent of Police rank officer were put to work for the star cast. SSP R.K Bhardwaj reported that only Rs 51,132 have been submitted by the organizers of Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management against the standing amount of over Rs 6.11 lakhs. Ankit Maurya, who was the organizer, said that they informed the police department to recover the remaining amount from Shah Rukh Khan and his team. The Varanasi Police department has now sent a recovery notice of Rs 5.59 lakhs to Shah Rukh Khan. -PTC News
