Sidhu's Indispensable! Navjot’s son among new top legal officers in Punjab
Seems like Punjab Congress is for Sidhus everywhere!
After Navjot Singh Sidhu's wife was appointed as the chairperson of Punjab Warehousing Corporation last month, his son Karan Singh Sidhu is now among the new top legal officers in Punjab.
Raising questions on the recent move by Punjab Congress Virsa Singh Valtoha said, 'People have consistently felt betrayed by the Punjab Congress in the last one year. The huge promises made by Captain at the time of elections are still far fetched dreams.'
'The Sidhu family is being "adjusted" in Punjab government repeatedly. His wife was made the Chairperson of Punjab Warehousing Corporation last month and now his son is among the top legal officers. Where are Navjot Sidhu's morals now?', he added.
The Punjab government on Thursday added three additional, 14 assistant and 11 deputy advocate generals to its list of lawyers in the Advocate General’s Office for defending its cases in the Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Supreme Court.
Among the fresh inclusions is Karan Singh Sidhu, son of the Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Last month, the Punjab government appointed Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu as chairperson of Punjab Warehousing Corporation, but she is yet to assume office.
