Simarjit Singh Bains booked for trespassing Ludhiana passport office Lok Insaaf Party leader and local MLA Simarjit Singh Bains was booked on Wednesday for allegedly trespassing into the Ludhiana passport office with his armed supporters, a police official confirmed. The assistant passport officer Ludhiana, Yash Pal had registered a complaint. In his complaint, Pal claimed that Bains forcefully entered the Passport Sewa Kendra, Ludhiana with numerous armed supporters on Monday. Pal has accused the MLA of "trespassing the secured zone of passport office, bringing arms inside, misbehaving with security guard, scaring away applicants and disrupting work". He has been booked under various sections of the IPC. The passport officer alleged that Bains and his supporters started recording videos following which applicants got scared and left the office. -PTC News
