Slight rise in temperature in Delhi after consecutive days of dust-laden winds

Mercury appreciated slightly in Delhi on Friday morning after three days of dust in the air. The minimum temperature settling at 33.4 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal, said official reports. There was relative humidity in the morning with about 43 per cent, a MeT Department official said. The weatherman has forecast that strong dust-raising winds are likely to occur later in the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded at other weather stations were -- Lodhi Road (32.8 degrees Celsius), Ridge (32.3), Ayanagar (32.4) and Palam (32). Yesterday, the minimum temperature had settled at 34 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.5 degrees Celsius. -PTC News
