While Bollywood leads the pack in all three categories, Punjabi cinema doesn't is taking over the audience world wide like no other cinema. This time Punjabi cinema brings a dose of industry's best modern singers in a war centric film. The official trailer of Subedar Joginder Singh is out now! A film based on the life of Subedar Joginder Singh, a Param Vir Chakra awardee is scheduled to release in April this year. Here's the look at the official trailer! Along with Gippy Grewal, the film also stars Guggu Gill, Kulwinder Billa, Charan Singh, Rajvir Jawanda, Roshan Prince, Karamjit Anmol and Sardar Sohi among other names of the punjabi music industry. Apart from Punjabi, the film will also release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film is scheduled to release in 2018. Subedar Joginder Singh has been shot in locations like Kargil & Dras, Rajasthan and Assam to maintain the authenticity of the project by giving every detail a touch of the past. Joginder Singh served the country when it was struggling to gain independence. Singh was recruited into the First Battalion of the Sikh Regiment in 1936.  He served the British Indian Army and after independence, he served the Indian Army. It was during the Indo-China battle of 1962 that Subedar Joginder Singh sacrificed his life for the nation. He died in Chinese captivity.   -PTC News
