Representatives of various panchayats from Bathinda and Muktsar took out a Sangharsh March in Bathinda. A memorandum has also been submitted with the ADC, addressing the President and Prime Minister of India demanding justice in the water distribution issue. The memorandum also carried copies of resolutions passed by Hundreds of Panchayats of Bathinda and Muktsar against the construction of the SYL. The march was headed by Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Sikander Singh Maluka.
