Main opposition of Haryana, INLD began its protest over the SYL issue. They have blocked the main highways that link Punjab to Haryana.
Furthermore, this protest by INLD will be held from 9 am to 3 pm, including in Lalru-Chandigarh road, Narwana-Dhanauri, Ratia-Budlahada road (Jakhal point), Ambala-Shambhu border,and Dabwali on Haryana-Punjab border.

In addition to this, both Punjab police and Haryana police has made security arrangements to deal with the protest and situation.
