UAE based Indian ignores mega jackpot call, thinks its prank: Hari Krishan(UAE) based Indian received calls congratulating him for having bagged a whopping 21 crore lottery, he ignored them thinking that they were a prank.
He started getting calls from radio stations and media persons towards his reaction on winning the mega jackpot. It was at this point that Krishan asked his wife to check the lottery website just to discover that he had actually won.
"I overlooked the first couple of calls... But later, when some radio stations and media persons started calling me, I asked my wife to check the lottery website, just in case. And she said we had actually won. We are still in disbelief," Hari added.
"I had purchased the 500 dirham ticket twice before. There were no real expectations about this one, but with God's grace I turned out to be lucky. I'm thinking I'll use the money for my post-retirement expenses and my kid's education," he told the paper from Abu Dhabi.
Krishan will receive the money: 12 million dirhams on February 5. He is slated to visit his family in Alappuzha on Frida
