Weather Alert! Light rain likely in most parts of Tricity in next 36 hours
Light to moderate rain and thunderstorm accompanied with strong surface wind very likely in most parts of Tricity during next 36 hours, said India Meteorological Department on Saturday afternoon. Chandigarh and major parts of Punjab and Haryana were lashed by rains on Saturday morning, bringing much relief to the residents from a thick haze of dust and pollution that enveloped the region for the past three days. There was clear visibility as the rain began on Friday midnight. However, the sky remained overcast with chances of more showers later in the day. A cloud of dust hung over Punjab, Delhi and other parts of North Indian plains for fourth consecutive day on Friday morning. -PTC News
