Youth shot dead after quarrel during cricket match in Delhi
New Delhi: A 23-year-old man, who was returning home after playing cricket, was shot dead allegedly by some bike-borne persons in southwest Delhi's Chhawla area yesterday. Mangu, who was riding pillion, was allegedly shot at thrice by some bike-borne persons while he was returning with a friend on scooty, police said. The accused, who were captured in a CCTV footage, have been identified and police has launched a hunt for them. The deceased apparently had an argument with some boys while playing cricket yesterday. It is suspected that the murder was the fallout of a cricket rivalry, police said. — PTI
