1 died, 8 injured in a road accident in Jalandhar-Amritsar highway
Two cars collided in a serious crash on the Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway in Punjab leaving 1 dead and 8 seriously injured, as per official information.
The crash happened on the flyover near Subhanpur, Jalandhar-Amritsar highway, on Tuesday morning.
8 passengers suffered serious injuries, out of which two are in a critical situation currently while one had died on the spot. The injured were rushed to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
As per the information, there were 4 police officials in one of the cars, out of which one died on the spot.
