Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s impromptu visit to the ‘Pumwani Maternity Hospital’ gave him proofs of negligence. In his surprise visit to the hospital, the Governor recovered 12 bodies of infants who died mysteriously and were hidden in boxes and plastic bags inside a room. He said that losing 12 babies in a day, was a serious matter and handed the case to the police for further investigations. Earlier in the week, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko received reports of negligence, so he went to the hospital for a surprise visit. The reason behind the hospital's negligence is that the Kenya Government neglect public hospitals and they have mismanagement.
