Bodies Of 12 Dead Babies Hidden In Plastic Boxes And Plastic Bags In Hospital
12 dead babies were found stuffed in boxes and plastic bags in a Kenyan Hospital. Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s impromptu visit to the ‘Pumwani Maternity Hospital’ gave him proofs of negligence.
In his surprise visit to the hospital, the Governor recovered 12 bodies of infants who died mysteriously and were hidden in boxes and plastic bags inside a room.
The governor then demanded an explanation from the hospital authorities to which the hospital people said that they temporarily put bodies in boxes before transferring them to the morgue.
Governor suspended the top officials of the hospital. He said that losing 12 babies in a day, was a serious matter and handed the case to the police for further investigations.
Earlier in the week, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko received reports of negligence, so he went to the hospital for a surprise visit.
The reason behind the hospital’s negligence is that the Kenya Government neglect public hospitals and they have mismanagement. The healthcare systems are overcrowded, overboard and unfunded.
